File Organisation
These are my files for FMP. I like to have everything sorted in different folders.
-All of the files that I have edited in after effects. These include my final animation and any breakdown videos.
-In the collaboration tab I have all the screenshots of my conversation with Finn and any other files he has sent me
-Next, I have all of my reference videos
-all of my maya files, which are the separate shots for my animation
-photoshop files, which include any references I have annotated or drawn over and image sequences
-finally, all the images that go on to my website
This is the scenes folder in maya. I have all of the scenes in separate folders and all the different stages of me building my environment under.
This is the checklist I had for all of the different areas I needed to complete.
Shedule
This is the schedule that I had planned for myself. I wanted to get into the habit of working 9 to 5 for at least 3 days out of the week. When I started this term I was pretty great at keeping this up. However, later on, my schedule shifted and I started taking Wednesdays and Thursdays off and working Friday to Tuesday. Working during the weekend wasn't ideal for me. Around this point, I started to skip out on a few days and work later in the day. Sometimes I would start working around lunch and work later into the evening. I generally work better at night but this is not ideal for me because I would like to spend the evening doing something for myself or with my family. Towards the end of term, I did my best to start working from 10 am, and for the most part, I achieved that. After working at Ritzy for two days I realized that I am capable of working 10 to 6. This experience has motivated me to start sticking to a regular schedule from now on.
